The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in the history of mankind.The day of Resurrection marks the Glory of the Son of God who came to the earth to redeem for the sins of mankind, and gave people hope for life after death. Jesus Christ was resurrected on the third day after he was crucified and buried in his tomb. The tomb was seen empty by the women who visited the grave. Jesus Christ appeared to Mary Magdalene and the apostles. This is how they discovered Jesus resurrected for eternal life.
Easter is the day that marks the beginning of a new era in human history, the era of love. This is the holiday that makes us show the good in us and find it in the others as well. Each person experiences Easter in a very personal way, but we always connect this day with joy and faith.

Easter is the largest and most revered spring festival, which makes us become more humble, take a look at ourselves and our actions, and realize the true meaning of eternal values. Although many of the traditions can hardly be observed in our hectic lives, they are still preserved, though slightly modified. Preparations for the festival begin during the Holy week. This sweet dessert from Puglia is also called Corrucolo

Ingredients
For 6 people
500 g flour
pinch of salt salt
100 g granulated sugar
100 ml olive oil
About 3 tablespoons milk
1 egg + 1 egg with the shell
olive oil
icing sugar


Procedure:

Mix the flour with the sugar and a teaspoon of salt. Take the fountain, pour in the center the oil and knead by combining the amount of warm milk required to obtain a paste from the right consistency. Knead vigorously for 5 minutes and then divide it into three equal pieces (keep apart a bit for decoration) that will roll in order to obtain three long cylinder that will give the shape of a braid, with the two ends together, then place on a plate greased with a little oil. At the junction of the braid place a raw egg and with the small pieces of dough make 4 thin strips that will fix a cross on the egg. Brush the surface of the second braid with the beaten egg and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes. It must be a nice golden color and should be eaten when cool sprinkled with icing sugar.

Today's recipe is Dove Pasquale. The recipe is simple, just follow the dose and the procedure indicated and you will get a cake that, in my opinion, is much better than a few good industrial products.
I followed to the letter the videoricetta, I just joined the yeast to the flour before mixing the dough and dusted the candied orange with a little flour so that the dough distribuisse better himself.
A few recommendations for a sure result:
used a mold of 750 g, it is perfect for the dosage regimen.
used, as is indicated in the ingredients, the instant yeast for pies.
abundant in the surface sprinkle the almonds and sugar, the eye and the taste will thank you.
Ingredients for a mold of 750 g:
350 g flour 
3 eggs
100 g of butter
200 g of sugar
50 g bitter almonds 
1 glass of milk (about 180 g)
100 g of candied orange
grated orange peel 
grated zest of 1 lemon
1 shot of amaretto liqueur
a pinch of salt
To garnish:
100 g almonds
granulated sugar 

Chop the bitter almonds finely. Grate the zest of orange and lemon.
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Whip the egg whites until stiff adding a pinch of sugar, serve to mount faster.
In a bowl, beat the yolks with sugar and softened butter. If necessary add a little 'milk to mix better.
Add the remaining milk, and a pinch of salt and mix well.
Add the flour mixed with baking powder dropping from sprinkle flour so that incorporates air, this will make the dough rise better. Mix well.
Add the grated citrus peel, bitter almonds chopped (or almond essence) and mix well.
Sprinkle the candied orange peels with the remaining tablespoon of flour and add them to the dough, distribute them in the dough well.
Add the egg whites and stir from bottom to top.
Pour the mixture into the mold of dove bake.
